What Was The Greatest Performance Of The 2008 Olympics?
The 2008 Beijing Olympics ended in extravagant and borderline audacious fashion last night. Two weeks went by in the blink of an eye. So what Olympic performance will stick with you the most?
Was it Michael Phelps achieving his goal of winning eight gold medals?
Was it Shawn Johnson’s performance on the beam, in which she was practically flawless and secured her first-ever gold medal?
Was it Usain Bolt’s 200m world-record breaking run?
Was it Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh’s amazing gold medal repeat?
Was it the Redeem Team’s gold medal game against Spain?
OR was it something else?
For me, it was a combination of Shawn Johnson, Usain Bolt and Michael Phelps. Each one of their individual performances made me say, “Wow” out loud.
